Reports
VirtuCath writes one report covering whatever you have done in the session, rather than a separate export per tool. Open it from Report → Generate Report..., or from the Report... button at the right-hand end of the tab bar.
The report dialog
The dialog lists every block that can go into the document, each with a checkbox and its current status:

- A block you have not run yet is greyed out and labelled not run: it cannot be included, because there is nothing to include.
- A block whose results came from an earlier build is still offered, labelled previous model. Rebuilding does not delete a tool's results, it marks them stale, so you keep the numbers and decide whether they are still representative. The block is included as it stands and the document carries the same label, so a reader can see which sections predate the current design. Re-run the tool first if you want it to match.
- Select All Available ticks everything that has results.
Choose PDF or Excel, set the output path, and optionally tick Open when finished. Blocks always appear in the same order in the document regardless of the order you ran them, so two reports of the same design are comparable.
Two tools contribute no block. A Design Sweep block could only carry one of the sweep's output metrics at a time, which misrepresents a tool whose whole point is the design space. A Steering Simulation block would freeze whichever pose the sliders happened to be in, while every other section of the report is a run with a stated scenario a reader can check. Both keep their own exports instead; see Per-tool exports.
Reading a blank cell
A value cell that carries no number says which kind of "no number" it is, using the same three words as the Catheter Analysis tab:

N/A | The model does compute this for this section, but did not produce it this time: a round-bore burst pressure on a multi-lumen core, say. |
A rigid section still prints its geometry. Outer and inner diameter, pull-wire lumen size, wall and liner thicknesses, and material names are entered on the drawing, so they are as true for a rigid tip as for any other section. Only the derived mechanics are blanked. (Before 1.5.0 a rigid section blanked everything, so a real liner material could appear beside an "Outer Diameter N/A mm" whose OD was sitting in the design all along.)
A blank never carries a unit. "N/A MPa" would claim a pressure in megapascals that was never measured.
Per-tool exports
The report is the way out of every tool, and the per-tool PDF and CSV buttons that used to sit inside them have been retired in its favour. Three exports remain, each doing something the report cannot:
- Design Sweep → Save PNG: the current response-surface view as an image.
- Braid Transfer → Copy Summary: the inputs, results and warnings as plain text on the clipboard, ready to paste into an email or a purchase order.
- Steering Simulation → Export: the viewport image, the deflected shape as an STL, and the run log as CSV. Steering has no report block, so this is its only route out.
For the raw numbers behind the other tools, choose the Excel format: it writes each tool's underlying table as its own sheet, including the Pushability force/stroke curve, the Kink Radius bend ramp, and the Reflow layer dimensions.
